Te Ara Urutau is Auckland Council's Climate and Emergency Ready Fund, supporting community-led projects across Tāmaki Makaurau.

Round 1: Reducing Our Climate Impact

Opens 12 October 2026

For projects focused on areas such as transport, food, energy and community participation that reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

Round 2: Community-led Adaptation and Emergency Preparedness

Opens 25 January 2027

For projects that help communities prepare for emergencies, understand climate risks, and plan or take action to adapt.
