Worm farming for kids
Papatoetoe Library
Join facilitator Dipen at Papatoetoe Library for a playful, practical introduction to worm farming for tamariki and whānau. Kids will have the chance to meet live tiger worms and discover how these quiet backyard helpers transform everyday food scraps into nutrient-rich fertiliser for the garden.
The session is interactive and designed for children to explore together with their accompanying adults through hands-on activities.
Compost system discount
Participants who attend receive an emailed voucher for 50% off a compost system ordered online, with direct delivery to your door and the option to add a free rat trap. Delivered by Compost Collective with support from Auckland Council.
