Seniors Climate Action Network: Strategic Hui
Mount Albert Community and Leisure Centre
About this event
Following an inspiring Golden Festival and a year full of activity, the Seniors Climate Action Network (SCAN) community is coming together for a facilitated strategic hui to imagine what's next.
Whether you'd like to share a big "blue sky" dream, put forward ideas, help shape priorities, or simply listen and learn, you are welcome to join us.
Together we'll explore
- The future direction of SCAN as a sustainable, community-led network.
- How we can strengthen relationships, belonging, and connection.
- Ways seniors can contribute to climate action and advocacy.
- Opportunities for partnerships, participation, and community leadership.
- How we can inspire, support, and grow our network.
We'll also be asking how we want to shape the future for our mokopuna, in what ways we want to take action, and how we can work with an intergenerational approach, learning alongside rangatahi and tamariki.
Come along and help shape the next chapter of SCAN!
