About The ReCreators
The ReCreators run DIY upcycling woodworking, gardening, and upcycling wānanga and workshops for tamariki, rangatahi, and whānau across Tāmaki Makaurau and the Waikato. From school holiday programmes to community garden sessions and maker workshops, they turn reclaimed materials into practical skills, creative confidence, and a stronger sense of community.
Upcycling is endlessly creative, sustainable, and allows people to mindfully make with non-virgin materials and their own hands.
