Climate Adaptation Workshop in Auckland (aka The Adaptation Game)
Sustainable Business Network
About this event
The Adaptation Game (TAG) is an immersive tabletop gaming experience that simulates how you and your community can respond to the next ten years of climate change across Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland.
This localised edition of TAG is brand new, offering participants an early opportunity to test out the simulation. Climate Training Co. helped refine the pilot version when it was first adapted for Auckland, drawing on local data, maps, and climate modelling to build a realistic, area-specific scenario.
What to expect
Led by experienced facilitators, the session guides players through evolving local scenarios, testing decision-making and collaborative resilience in the face of future climate events. Expect to walk away with practical insights and a fresh perspective on climate readiness in our region.
