Advocacy in Action

We invite you to the second Campaign for Climate Hui of 2026. This Hui brings together people working in community-led climate action across Tāmaki Makaurau to explore how we can strengthen our collective voice ahead of the General Election.

Rather than a workshop, this Hui will feature a series of guest speakers sharing practical insights and resources, followed by informal networking over a provided lunch.

What You'll Learn

Throughout the session you'll hear about a range of approaches to election-year advocacy, including:

• Where to find reliable information about candidates and party positions.
• Ways community organisations can encourage civic participation and informed voting.
• How to communicate effectively with your audiences in a non-partisan way.
• Upcoming campaigns, events, and opportunities to get involved.
• What other organisations across the network are planning.

We'll also leave time for networking and, where possible, brief updates from attendees about the advocacy work happening within their own organisations.
