These April school holidays, join us in celebrating how we are all part of Te Taiao / the natural world and discover the many little things we can do to make a big difference to help our planet - and all the animals we share it with!

Pick up a free We Share the Same World activity booklet on arrival and follow the Climate Trail we’ve created with our Auckland Council Climate team colleagues.

As you venture through the Zoo connecting with your favourite animals, you’ll learn about:

• How our climate is changing
• How we’re taking action here at the Zoo to help and protect species in the wild
• What you can do at home, at school, and in your community

From saving water and reducing food waste, to walking, biking, or carpooling to lessen car trips and fuel use, to planting trees and eating a more plant-based diet, there are heaps of simple ways you can be a conservation hero every day!

Be sure to take your free We Share the Same World booklet to complete at home, as it’s action-packed with fun activities.
