Bike Mechanic Workshop - Brake Repair

About the event

Get hands-on with bike maintenance and learn how to check and repair your brakes in this practical workshop from Bike Pukekohe.

You’ll start with the basic safety checks, then work through brake maintenance and repairs with support from an experienced bike mechanic. It’s suitable for all ages and skill levels, so you don’t need any previous bike maintenance experience.

What to bring

• Bring your own push bike or e-bike if you have one.
• Wear clothes you’re comfortable getting a little dirty.
• All tools and materials are provided.
• Light refreshments are included.

Your workshop leader

The workshop will be led by Zara, who is involved with bike hubs across Auckland and brings plenty of practical bike maintenance knowledge and experience.

This is the third workshop in Bike Pukekohe’s winter bike maintenance series, helping people build the skills and confidence to keep their bikes running safely and smoothly.
