The Aotearoa Bike Challenge is a free, month-long celebration of biking that kicks off on 1 February 2026.

The Challenge is all about helping more people discover the joy of riding - whether it’s to work, to the shops or simply for fun. The challenge is open to everyone, regardless of experience or fitness level.

It's easy to get involved.

• Ride solo or join as part of a workplace, school or community group
• Encourage your friends, whanau and colleagues to join 
• Log rides throughout February
• All points go towards awesome prizes

All rides count - whether it’s a short trip to the shops, a daily commute or a weekend adventure
