Teddy Bear Chocolate Banana Smoothie
A super-cute, kid-friendly recipe you can colour in or decorate!
A fun, delicious, and silly smoothie that looks just like a friendly teddy bear — perfect for kids to help make!
Ingredients (Serves 2)
- 1 large banana
- 1 cup milk (or oat, soy, or almond milk for a dairy-free version)
- 1–2 tablespoons cocoa powder or chocolate syrup
- 1 tablespoon peanut butter (optional)
- A handful of ice cubes
- 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
Teddy Bear Face Decorations (per glass)
- 3 banana slices (1 for the nose, 2 for the ears)
- 2 chocolate buttons (for the eyes)
- A tiny dot of chocolate syrup or melted chocolate (for sticking pieces on)
Instructions
- Blend the smoothie: Place the banana, milk, cocoa powder or chocolate syrup, peanut butter (if using), ice, and honey/maple syrup into a blender. Blend until smooth and creamy.
- Pour into glasses: Divide the smoothie evenly between two clear glasses.
- Make the teddy bear face:
- Ears: Tuck two banana slices on the rim of each glass.
- Nose: Stick one banana slice onto the front of the glass. Add a small dot of chocolate syrup to the centre of the banana slice for the nose.
- Eyes: Use tiny dabs of chocolate syrup to attach two chocolate buttons above the nose.
