Terms & Conditions
This competition is conducted by Auckland Council, Auckland Golf, and North Golf Association. By entering this competition, entrants are deemed to have read, understood, and accepted the following terms and conditions:
Competition
The competition is a prize draw to promote the use of Electric Vehicles (EVs) and to grow people’s knowledge of EVs.
Entries and prize draw
To enter the competition, all entrants must complete a quiz and submit the online entry form available on activation days, held on 26 April 2026 at the Redwood Park Golf Club, located at 13 Knox Road, Swanson, Auckland, and on 3 May 2026 at the Pukekohe Golf Club, located at 654 Karaka Road, Auckland. Following these activations, the quiz will be made available online to Auckland Golf’s members. The online competition will run until 30 June 2026. Entries received after this time will not be accepted.
The competition is open to members of the public aged 18 years and over living in the Auckland Region at the time of the prize draw. A person can enter only once; multiple entries are not allowed.
There will be four winners. Each will receive one of the following prizes:
• MG EV weekend Trial in partnership with Winger Motors (T&C applies)
• Two rounds of Golf at Te Arai Links
• Xiaomi Electric scooter
• Portable Power Station
Physical prizes will be delivered to the address provided by each winner, with the exception of the EV trial. The delivery address must be located within the Auckland Region. Auckland Council reserves the right to ask for proof of address.
Exclusions
(i) Anyone under the age of 18 at the time of entering the competition.
(ii) Anyone not resident in the Auckland Region at the time of the prize draw.
(iii) Anyone who works for Auckland Council, its CCOs or subsidiaries; anyone who works for and in connection with Auckland Libraries and their immediate family members.
Privacy
All information provided by the entrants will be collected, used, stored, disclosed, and corrected in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020. All entrants have the right to access their information and request that any personal information be corrected.
General conditions
Auckland Council, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to change, extend, or terminate the competition at any stage, for any reason. The prize draw decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
